Google is once again updating its algorithm--and it’s big. The Core Web Vitals update rolls out in May, and it’s all about speed and the user experience. More specifically, Google will start measuring all of the following: Largest Contentful Pain (LCP), First Input Delay (FID), and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS).
Set to roll out in May 2021, Google's Page Experience update will change the ranking algorithm, based on Core Web Vital scores, and will include a visible indication of a website’s speed on Google SERP. Only 13% of eCommerce websites are ready for this update.
